Join us for a flight, for the day, an evening, a whole week, for 3 months on our Introductory Membership scheme - or for a lifetime!

The Club is an ideal place to enjoy the wonderful sport of gliding and to meet new friends. We welcome new members over the age of 16 (15 for the Cadets Scheme).

Whether you are a student considering a career in aviation, newly retired and looking for something to inspire you or simply seeking a new outlet for your adventurous spirit, we have a route to membership suited to you.

Many members join us through participation in our One Day or One Week courses. This is a great way to see if gliding is really for you. By returning during your period of Temporary Membership you can really get to know us!

You can join the club through our economical Introductory Membership scheme and some members, often with some prior experience, join directly. Others use the ‘Fixed Price to Solo’ package. We have a cadet scheme for those over 15 and still in full-time education, and disounts for Juniors (16 to age 30). Details of the different ways to join are given below.
